can't get enough: Weekend Coffee, Dallas

On a recent work trip, I found myself staying in downtown Dallas at the Indigo Hotel, a perfectly passable place that's made the bold decision to differentiate itself with an enthusiastic beach theme, its landlocked location notwithstanding. Lemon yellow walls, wicker furniture, and giant sunflower photographs, it had it all, and it really did it all with total gusto. Its saving grace? Two blocks from the much nicer Joule Hotel, which happens to house a killer coffee shop, designed by LA design firm tenoversix. Breakfast tacos, incredible espresso from Seattle’s Victrola Coffee Roasters, adorable swag (like this ceramic coffee to-go mug that I may have purchased as a "gift"), and did I mention the homemade biscuits and jam?
